From the Founder - Carisue Bench, ACC CPC ELI-MP
I created NarrativeShift Coaching & Advisory because I know what it feels like to lead through change. Work is moving faster than it used to, and AI is adding new layers that leaders are still learning to navigate.
I’ve been in moments where the path forward wasn’t obvious, where expectations shifted quickly, and where I had to rethink how I was showing up while everything around me was evolving.
Those experiences shape the way our practice supports leaders today.
When the stakes are high, the story you’re operating from matters. I believe leaders deserve support that is clear, grounded, and practical. That belief guides how we work with every client. We help leaders understand what is happening around them, see new possibilities, and move forward with confidence and direction.

Our Approach
We use a collaborative approach from the start. We do not arrive with pre-set answers or a one-size-fits-all model. Our coaches take time to understand each leader’s context, whether they are guiding teams through change inside an organization or navigating a transition to a new role, company, or industry. Together, we define what success looks like and identify practical ways for the work to move forward.

We may begin an engagement with an assessment that offers a clear starting point and helps clarify how a leader is showing up today. Some leaders also choose to add a quantitative or qualitative 360 assessment for a broader view of how their leadership is experienced by others. Each tool serves a different purpose, and the practice only uses what supports the work underway. Every engagement is customized, and the team curates the right mix of tools and conversations based on what each leader needs.
